Animal Hood Simple Sew – great for practising your ability to sew through multiple layers of fabric. This is a Scrap Buster Project so is great for using left over lengths of fabric and left over fastenings. Use this pattern as a base from which to customise and individualise your make. Adding wadding adds ‘body’ to the hood making it warmer for those winter months and creating a head accessory which is a hybrid of a hat and a hoodie. By adding wadding to ears makes them stand up that bit more if that is the look you want. Add buttons to the tips of the rabbit ear version to create a snood type effect – see carousel.
